Stampede Ventures, a notable Hollywood production firm, has partnered with Film AlUla in a monumental $350 million deal spanning three years. This agreement promises to introduce ten new projects set against the backdrop of Saudi Arabia's iconic sites.

This collaboration was unveiled at Riyadh's Future Investment Initiative conference and aligns with the Royal Commission for AlUla's mission to transform the City into a nexus for creativity. The film organization has further sweetened the Deal by offering enticing rebates and incentives to attract major productions.

Stampede Ventures' CEO, Greg Silverman, who boasts an impressive tenure at Warner Brothers, has contributed to over 125 films. These films have collectively grossed over $38 billion globally, with renowned titles such as the Harry Potter saga and Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy under his belt.

Amr AlMadani, the CEO of the Royal Commission for AlUla, stated, "Film AlUla, over the past three years, has methodically established a flourishing film industry ready to host international productions. Our nearly 30,000 square meter studio complex is near completion, and we're on track to train Saudis for pivotal roles both on and off-screen. This collaboration will surely expedite our progress and bolster our international reputation."

Since its inception in 2020, Film AlUla has seen over 700 days of filming. Some of the notable projects include the action-packed "Kandahar" starring Gerard Butler, the Russo brothers' drama "Cherry" featuring Tom Holland, and the groundbreaking "Norah" by Saudi director Tawfik Alzaidi. Notably, "Norah" stands out as the inaugural Saudi feature film filmed in AlUla with an entirely Saudi cast and a predominantly Saudi crew.
